FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Are Laser Treatments Painful?
Most clients experience pain. The pain occurs when the laser comes into contact with the tattoo ink and usually subsides within a few minutes of treatment completion. We cool your skin before and during each treatment with a Zimmer Cryo 6 Chiller to lessen the pain. The Zimmer Cryo 6 is an integrated cooling system that maximizes patient comfort while minimizing side effects. It won the Editor’s Choice Award for Best Stand Alone Epidermal Cooling Device from Aesthetic Trends and Technologies, and continues to be a favorite of clinics throughout the world.
It only takes SECONDS TO MINUTES to provide a laser treatment.
How much does it cost?
We provide template pricing of $100 - $500 per treatment. The average client spends $200 per treatment. On average, most tattoos require 6 - 10 treatments that are scheduled every 4 - 6 weeks. Payments are due at the time of service.
How many treatments will I need?
The number of treatments is unique to you and your tattoo. We ask questions to determine the age, ink color, and size of your tattoo. All this information guides us in putting together a treatment plan for you.
Why do I need multiple treatments?
When you get a tattoo, ink is deposited at different depths of your skin. Each laser treatment is designed to hit a specific color at a specific depth. Each pass of the laser breaks up these ink particles and speeds up the body’s elimination of the tattoo itself.
Why is the Evo Q Plus-C the best?
This is a Q-switch, tri-wavelength laser. A Q-switch is a nano-second laser capable of working on all skin types and all ink colors. The laser breaks up the ink particles of the tattoo with a high-intensity light beam. Picosure (755nm Alexandrite), a common laser found in many doctor’s offices and med spas, is only effective on lighter skin tones and can not handle highly saturated colored inks.
Are there side effects?
There are minimal risks and side effects associated with laser tattoo removal. You risk infection, changes in skin pigmentation, blistering, bleeding, ghost images, or permanent scarring at the site.
